This qualification is designed for learners who work in a sales enviroment, either in sales roles or performing sales functions, and who have direct contact with customers. The qualification covers a range of functions including developing a sales strategy, managing sales territories and teams and face to face selling.

The EDI Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Sales is aimed at the learner who is progressing in their career and has significant knowledge and experience. At this level they are required to demonstrate greater autonomy in completing tasks, organising activities and contributing to decision making. Learners who achieve this qualification will be able to progress on to the EDI Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Sales or on to higher level qualifications.

Business and Administration gives you an opportunity to formalise your skills and knowledge to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. You will be able to demonstrate competency in your role by providing evidence that your skills and knowledge meet the fundamental aspects of business and administration. Entry Requirements Must be working in a relevant environment and be able to achieve, or have already achieved, functional skills qualifications or their equivalent. Your assessor will support you to select an appropriate level in line with your current job role.

Learning & Assessment Methods Assessment and delivery will be undertaken in the workplace, tailored to the needs of both the employer and the learner including practical demonstrations of competence to build a portfolio of evidence.

The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of Business and Administration. It provides an insight into the principles and processes of Business and Administration and will aid career development.

This QCF competence-based qualification is designed for those people who:

– are involved in Business and Administration as their primary work activity
– are seeking a career in Business and Administration and wish to take the first steps towards professional qualifications
– wish to gain recognition of their skills and experience in Business and Administration

The units you can take as part of these qualifications include:

Managing your own performance in a business environment
Working in a business environment
Working with other people in a business environment
Using office equipment
Researching information
Delivering a presentation

And a range of IT units, including word processing and spread sheets.

Level 2 is designed for staff who carry out a broad range of administrative activities, with a limited amount of supervision and who work with some autonomy. Level 3 is designed for staff that carry out administrative duties with a considerable amount of responsibility and autonomy. This should include contributing to the development and implementation of administrative services within the organisation.
