What is National Apprenticeship Week?
National Apprenticeship Week is co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and is designed to celebrate Apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals and businesses.
Now in its sixth year, National Apprenticeship Week is the time when all eyes are on Apprenticeships and it’s all about raising the profile amongst employers, individuals, teachers, parents and the media.
Everyone with an interest in Apprenticeships across England is encouraged to get involved in the week.
The overarching theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2013 is: Apprenticeships Deliver.
The year’s theme is a key part of the New Era for Apprenticeships. It is about demonstrating how apprenticeships can deliver for both employers and individuals whilst showcasing the quality of apprentices and the huge contribution they make to their employer’s success.
We want to show how apprentices develop as individuals and how proud the country’s employers are of their apprentices.
To take part in Apprenticeship week, Mercia Partnership will be visiting all our current Apprentices to take photographs, hold interviews and write case studies. Keep an eye on our twitter feed for #NAW2013
The theme from the National Apprenticeship Service for the week is as follows:
Monday 11th March – Proud
Tuesday 12th March – Growth
Wednesday 13th March – Choice
Thursday 14th March – Hall of Fame
Friday 15th March – Apprenticeships Deliver
