Mercia Christmas Charity Contribution

Mercia raised £50 over Christmas from staff to contribute to Glen and Lorna’s All Day Christmas Party

Real Radio is raising money for When You Wish Upon a Star, a small charity granting wishes for North West children with life threatening illnesses.

Wishes are varied and far reaching. For some a trip to Lapland to meet Santa, for others it is a chance to get up close to a favourite pop star or sporting hero and some children simply want books and toys.

When You Wish Upon A Star rely solely on fundraising events and the generosity of the public to enable them to grant the Wishes of these special and courageous children. Your help is vital and with your support, we can help them provide a marvellous experience, during a very difficult time.

All children have Wishes, but for these children and their families that Wish is much more precious.

Join us on 13th December for Glen and Lorna’s All Day Christmas Party! The Real Radio Breakfast team will be hosting a whole day full of crazy challenges, star guests and ways to get involved… all in support of the fantastic charity When You Wish Upon A Star!

Ofsted Learner Survey

Questionnaires to support inspections under the Common Inspection Framework for further education and skills

Dear Sir or Madam

This email is sent to you on behalf of Ofsted.

Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) inspects the further education and skills college or provider that has sent you this email.

We have developed an online questionnaire for learners to give us your views about the provider that you are learning with. The questionnaire is open to learners of all ages, and on all courses.

If you are learning or training with more than one provider you may be sent an email by each of these providers, and are welcome to complete a questionnaire for each one.

We would be grateful if you would fill in the questionnaire to help us understand how well the further education and skills provider supports its learners to ensure the best possible outcomes.

You can complete the questionnaire and find out more information about it by going to the Learner View website:

You will need to register on the site using your email address and password, and select the provider that you are learning with.

Ofsted will use the questionnaire to help to prioritise which providers to inspect. Inspectors will also use the results during the inspection to identify issues to look at in more detail.

If you have any queries or require assistance please call our National Business Unit on 0300 123 1231 or email us at

Thank you for completing our questionnaire. Your views are important to us.
